A matriculant from the Department of Vocational & Technical Education (VTE) Rereloluwa William expresses her extreme elation to be among the students matriculating today. She also commented that the door to the main auditorium was locked and she couldn't participate in the ceremony that took place inside the hall and this was caused by some faculties that pasted time on their notice board while some did not.

Ajayi Peters a Matriculant from the Department of Vocational & Technical Education (VTE) expresses his gladness to be a matriculant, he added that he's very well determined to work harder and graduate from Ekiti State University as a first class student.

Daramola Olubunmi Oluwaseun from the Department of History and International studies(HIS) who exudes a refreshing confidence and seem very poised to accomplish whatever he sets out to do.
According to him, he has a very high determination as a student and he's willing to dedicate much of his energy to graduating a First Class student.
Olubunmi said "I see myself as someone who will pursue my dreams, contribute to the development of my country and create employment opportunity for youths in the future". He said he felt motivated by the dynamic environment of the school.
Dosunmu Ademola also a student of History and International studies expressed his profound gratitude to the Almighty God to be a matriculant.

Nifemi from the Faculty of Engineering and Kofoworola from social sciences said it is normal to feel excited although they had received a lot of beating in their different hostels.

Taiwo from the Accounting Department A very bright lady and concise such that she sees no need to explain because everything is quickly clear in her own mind said EKSU is stressful and she has to "gbakamu". According to her, matriculation is ones in a lifetime and that she gave out 2000 naira not to be beaten in the morning but however her well wishers still pour water on her.
When asked where she sees herself in 5years time. She replied "I see myself in working in Bank and also as a strong Entrepreneur.

Omotayo A matriculant from the faculty of law said she's very excited and she even escaped the beating some students got this morning in her hostel.
When asked about her view of EKSU
She replied "EKSU has come a long way with enough good facilities but the school needs to improve on their organisation"

Mrs Ajakaye the mother of Princess Adebimpe Oreoluwa from Economics Department expresses her confidence in her daughter and that she sees her in a big place in coming years.

Mr. Aina Adedayo the Father of Aina Oluwasekemi from the Faculty of law who came all a way from Akure when asked on the vision and aspiration she has for her daughter said " I am very excited to witness the matriculation of my daughter and I expect her to come out in a fly colour and to attain what I've not attained" He said education is vital to the development of a society and He's ready to give her daughter that.
He also commented on the University environment that it is conducive for learning.
His daughter Oluwasekemi when expressing her excitement said EKSU is a great and interesting school and it feels good to be here but said the stress is too much!

Lawrence a matriculant from Tourism Department when asked wether he was beating in the morning said " I am a big boy and most of my hostel mates thought that I'm a Satalite" He added that his parent are absent but his brother is on his way to celebrate him.
