EKSU's Theatre and Media Arts department performed exceptionally at the just concluded NUTAF (National Universities Theatre Arts Festival) in Jos, Plateau State.
The event which was held in Plateau University ,Bokkos and attended by Lecturers and representatives of the department, staff of the Performing Company (UCPC) and theatre art practitioners across the country,
witnessed EKSU TMA's laudable performance.
Adeoluwa Enioluwa Prince won the Best Director and Owoseni Faith won the Best Spoken word while the H.O.D. ( Dr Ade Adeseke) of Eksu TMA was honoured with a certificate of Merit. On a final note, EKSU also produced the National President of TMA, in person of Ogunmola Emmanuel AKA AGBARA.
The EKSU-SUG Chairman,OJO COLLINS ABIODUN C Cruz in his speech, said the body was impressed with the enormous achievements recorded in the department so far and extolled the virtues of its leadership. He further admonished them to remain steadfast and loyal and contribute to the general growth of the University and Nigeria because everyone has a role to play.
He also congratulated Comr.Agbara on his appointment,saying it was an acknowledgement for his meritorious service towards enabling a formidable modicum of excellence in the department.
